Serviced Studio Units at RiversideTwelve reasonably priced and recently refurbished serviced studio units are located adjoining Riverside Rest Home. These are available to purchase under a Right of Occupancy Agreement. Studio units are designed to cater to residents who no longer feel safe living at home or are seeking a more social environment. Under our standard service fees residents are provided with a range of care services to enable semi-independent living wilst allowing some self catering with an inbuilt kitchen and ensuite facilities. Since 2008 residents may now resident in studios whilst receiving and being funded for full rest home level care.
Riverside Studios and External Courtyards The beauty of serviced studio units is that they are much larger than a typical rest home room making the transition from home to a full care environment much less traumatic. Studios feature:
3D Studio Floor Plans and Studio Floor Plans Residents of studios also have their own spacious studio lounge and dining area located within the Riverside Rest Home. Residents of the studios are free to participate in all activities. Rates, power, building insurance, heating, gardening, repairs and maintenance are covered in a weekly Facility Outgoings Fee. Our standard Care Services charge covers all residents meals, laundry, cleaning, supervision (although not provision) of showers and general clinical oversight. All Occupation Rights Agreements are fully compliant with the Retirement Villages Act and residents are supported by a Statutory Supervisor, through Covenant Trustees.
