At Kate Sheppard we recognise that fresh, attractive, nutritious and varied food can significantly enhance the quality of life. This is why at Kate Sheppard meal times are made special by providing:

• Breakfast in bed every day!
• A varied range of morning and afternoon teas
• A choice of light or standard lunch
• Recipes chosen and supervised by a qualified and experienced Chef
• A comprehensively planned and regularly reviewed menu that provides variety over a monthly cycle
• Dietician approved special menus for those residents with special dietary or medical needs
• Regular opportunities for residents to provide feedback on our menus.

Laundry

Our onsite laundry team provide an excellent laundry service for all residents of the facility. A dry cleaning pickup and delivery service is available at cost.

Call Bells, Security and Fire Safety

Your safety is important to us. All facilities are locked overnight with all outside doors being alarmed. Sprinkler systems are installed in all facilities and the complex’s fire evacuation response is monitored regularly.All steps are taken to protect you from injury. Should you require urgent attention, all rooms are installed with an emergency call bell system.

In house Hairdressers

Two fully equiped hairsalons with qualified hairdressers are provided onsite.
